Legislative Win

CLEAA is proud to have brought forward HB2478 to the Arizona Legislature. This bill was aimed at our non-sworn members. It makes any assault on a police department employee a felony. CLEAA believes with the many unprovoked attacks on Law Enforcement, we needed to better protect our support staff. With lots of lobbying for the bill, we were able to get HB 2478 signed into law by the Governor during the 2023 session.
